Traffic Facts Updated

This week we rolled out exciting new features for the Traffic Facts application.  These features include real-time stats and conversion tracking.  Traffic Facts Real Time allows you to stay in-the-know with stats that update every 30 minutes.  Conversion tracking helps you determine if your online marketing efforts are giving you the proper return on investment.

Let me tell you a little bit about Traffic Facts. It adds a new dimension to how you develop and manage your hosted Web site.  Traffic Facts is a comprehensive reporting tool that analyzes traffic coming to and moving through your site.  With the knowledge of exactly how visitors find your site, and their behavior once they get there, it's easy to target your audience and ensure their experience is a positive one.

In short, Traffic Facts gives you the crucial insight you need!

It helps you gather, manipulate and report the make-or-break data crucial to your site's success. It also helps you quickly eliminate costly errors that might otherwise go undiscovered, focus your offerings and target new customers with a laser-like certainty.

Traffic Facts is the right tool at just the right time! Here's just some of what you get:

  • New! Real Time Stats means you’ll stay in-the-know with stats that update every 30 minutes.
  • New! Conversion Tracking helps you determine if your online marketing efforts are giving you the proper return on investment.
  • Site Summary Information assembles your most critical Web statistics in one place for quick review.
  • Export the data you capture to Microsoft Excel
  • Get fast, easy access to your raw log files - and manipulate data for revealing results.
  • Choose from three graphing options: Bar, Area, and Line for at-a-glance conclusions.
  • Visit-path reporting tells you how customers navigate through your site.
  • Custom date ranges gives you down-to-the-minute answers.
  • And much, much more!

Traffic facts is an interesting feature. My website is a personal website that has photos of my son.

I wish there was a way to access the raw log files directly without having to wait till the next day. Currently the log files are available only for the previous days. I wish there was a way to see the current log file.

Also it would help if there was a sample raw log file in the Help section. The only way to see how the log file looks is by subscribing to Traffic facts.

All in all, this feature is pretty nice. I haven't tried the real time stats yet as it will disable a lot of other features. But may be later.

We are currently exploring ways to allow Hosting customers to download log files.  I don't have an estimated time frame as to when this will be done.

Nice features, but does it work with the Quick Shopping Cart? If not why not?

Traffic Facts is currently not supported with Quick Shopping Cart.  This feature is under consideration and we hope to have support for Quick Shopping Cart in the near future.

If you purchase Traffic Facts for your hosting account, it will be automatically operational once you setup the Traffic Facts account.  However, if you enable the Real Time feature of the Traffic Facts product, you will have to modify the pages on your website to reference a java script file.  For more information please visit the Traffic Facts Help Center at http://help.godaddy.com/topic_list.php?topic_id=233.

Is there anyway to display traffic stats on the website itself? It would really help us with potential advertisers.

I am using Google Analytics and it gives me the info That I want. But I think with Traffic Facts new version, we can analyze visitors more and increase our site.
